‘If I Were Mayor’ profitable essays honored – The Suffolk Information-Herald


King’s Fork Middle School pupil Judah Bannarbie is the general winner of the Mike Duman “If I Were Mayor” essay contest for Suffolk center schoolers.

Judah will obtain a $200 reward card.

Individual college winners are:

  •  Forest Glen Middle School: First Place, Harry Chadbourne; Second Place, Rowan Chadbourne
  • Col. Fred Cherry Middle School: First Place, Lexie Gibbs; Second Place, Lily Jackson
  • King’s Fork Middle School: First Place, Sydney Perrin; Second Place, Krystian Wilform-Pickett
  • John Yeates Middle School: First Place, Mateo Rocha; Second Place, Elexis Brooks
  • John F. Kennedy: First Place, Kristen Hearn

The first-place winner for every college will obtain a $100 reward card. Second-place winners will obtain a $50 reward card.

Gift card pickup can be at 5 p.m. Friday at Mike Duman Auto Sales, 2300 Godwin Blvd.
