SNOHOMISH — No accidents had been reported after a small airplane with two folks aboard landed in a farm area on Saturday afternoon south of Snohomish, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office stated in a launch.
The airplane flew out of Harvey Field and climbed to about 700 toes earlier than shedding energy. The pilot made an emergency touchdown in a farm area simply off Highway 9.
The area was freshly plowed and planted, inflicting the airplane’s entrance touchdown gear to break down within the tender filth. The pilot and passenger exited the airplane and reported no accidents, the Sheriff’s Office stated.
The National Transportation Safety Board will examine the incident.
