Azarenka powers through to the fourth round in comprehensive fashion, dismantling No.15 seed Elina Svitolina 6-0, 6-2 in 67 minutes.
The Belarussian star won 13 points in a row at one stage during the second set, to make it to the round of 16 at Melbourne Park for the first time since 2016.
Svitolina did her best to stay alive in the final game, which included eight deuces, saving five match points and bringing up three break points, but she left it too late to show those fighting qualities, and eventually succumbed.
Svitolina almost tripled Azarenka for unforced errors (26-9), while Azarenka had the edge in winners (17-15).
Azarenka broke the 15th seed five times from just seven chances, and enjoyed sizeable advantages in both percentage of points won on first serve (76-60) and second serve (55-26).
Azarenka will face either Barbora Krejcikova or Jelena Ostapenko in the fourth round.
